Committed to getting the industry trained in commercial heating products, installation and maintenance, we have invested heavily in our Expert Academy training over recent years, which has included the refurbishment of our key training sites. We are delighted to announce the latest site to be completely overhauled is Dalgety Bay in Fife, Scotland.
Located at St David’s Business Park in Fife, this Expert Academy training centre is conveniently located for heating professionals across Edinburgh and the East Coast of Scotland, with easy access from the Queensferry Crossing and M90 motorway.
Ideal Heating Commercial equipment installed at Dalgety Bay training centre includes our Evomax 2, which is the UK’s number one wall mounted commercial condensing boiler; the Imax Xtra 2 floor standing boiler; and an ECOMOD 290HT heat pump. We consider access to actual product to be vital for learning as it provides attendees with the opportunity for interactive, hands-on training. The centre also features purpose-built workshops and spacious classrooms.
Andy Corrie, Expert Academy Technical Training Manager, is running our Dalgety Bay based commercial product training courses. Andy has been in the industry 35 years, 14 of which have been in training. A passionate advocate of training, Andy likes nothing better than “working with engineers, watching them actually getting hands-on and learning and absorbing information. It’s incredibly rewarding.” Andy has been instrumental in introducing commercial heating training into Scotland through our Dalgety Bay Centre of Excellence, designing the layout and deciding what appliances will be there and how to run the courses.

Dalgety Bay now joins our other fully refurbished training centres at Bridgehead in Hull, Leeds and Luton. Courses are delivered by dedicated Expert Academy training managers, whose extensive experience and qualifications across the heating and gas industries provide customers with invaluable insight and technical knowledge.
